Local company Nolan uPVC has been shortlisted in the Independent Retailer of the Year and Training & Development categories for this year's Swansea Bay Regional Business Awards.
The awards, which replace the former Carmarthenshire Business Awards, are aimed at recognising and rewarding business excellence. The winners of each category will compete to be crowned the Swansea Bay Business of the Year 2009.
The windows, doors and conservatories company, which has its HQ in Johnstown, Carmarthen, and a further showroom in Cardiff, has been supporting the local community for 20 years, with continued investment in the area and its people.
Employing 67 people, Nolan uPVC is committed to supporting its staff through first class training in the workplace to ensure it meets the exacting standards expected in every area of the business.
Commenting on the company being shortlisted, Nolan Nicholas, managing director said: "I am delighted that Nolan uPVC has been shortlisted as a finalist in two of the award categories. To be recognised alongside many other prestigious companies at this year's Swansea Bay Business Awards is a great honour. We are all looking forward to hearing the winners announced on the 25 March."
The winners will be revealed at a glittering ceremony at Llanelli's new Parc y Scarlets stadium on 25 March 2009. |
